Catering & Special Events
Get Our Vegan Food at Your Event
Although our primary business is weekly meal prep for pickup and delivery, we love creating special orders of food for small events around Des Moines. In the past, we've made charcuterie spreads for local businesses, provided ready-to-eat versions of our meals and snacks for yoga and hiking retreats, and delivered bulk orders of our plant-based protein desserts to hotels for speaking events.
If you're looking for delicious vegan options for your event, please contact madeline@newworldkitchendsm.com and give us as much information as possible: date, location, and number of people you're hoping to serve. We don't currently have a catering menu available, but please take a look at our weekly vegan and gluten-free menus to get an idea of what we offer. If there are dishes you're interested in, please let us know.
Due to our busy schedule we aren't always able to meet the requirements of every event, but we would love to try to make it work if at all possible!

We're Back with Three New Menu Items!
When we take a week off, I usually take several days to rest, then a few to work on recipe development, and a few more to rest before getting back to the usual kitchen routine. I’ve come to see how this time is necessary for me as a chef and a person. Playing around in the kitchen to create new recipes is my favorite thing, and I’m so grateful I run a business that allows me that time.
