A New Vegan Documentary from Justin

Justin Norman

Hi, I’m Justin. For those of you who pick up your food from us on Mondays, you probably know me as the guy who hands your orders to you. I’ve worked with my wife Madeline as the web developer/photographer for New World Kitchen over the last 5+ years — but for most of my working hours, I’m a filmmaker.

This year, my two worlds have begun to collide: I’m helping my friend Ryan Rakes make a documentary about vegan strength athletes, and I thought some of you might be interested in the project. We’ve chosen the subject because there is a common myth being spread that it’s difficult or impossible to build muscle without eating meat. The athletes we’re spotlighting in this documentary prove that’s not the case.

You can watch a few clips from some of my favorite interviews below. If you like what you see, you can also financially support the project by donating through GoFundMe. Every donation helps us fund our final days of filming as well as the post-production process.

Our news feeds are full of information about all of the negative things happening in the world that are out of our control, but our choices about the food we eat are one of the few places we can consistently make a positive impact every day. That’s why being vegan means so much to me, and that’s why I’m working on Project Ironbound. I hope you’ll take a look and consider supporting it if you can!
