The name New World came out of my mouth when my former partner and I were sitting on the floor of my apartment, throwing around potential names for what eventually became New World Café. I stuck with it when I relaunched, because this has, and will always, be rooted in the belief that something new is possible if we create it. In our lifestyles, in the way our businesses are run, in our government and the way it treats people. That hopeful intention, believing transformation is possible, is still what you support when you support NWK.

And it’s especially important to hold on to now, when so many are particularly powerless and afraid. When social media feels paralyzing and heavier than ever. All that to say, we do not support this current administration in any way.

We love making our bright, beautiful vegan food, even if it seems silly in these times. It’s never silly for any of us to do what we love. Anything created by hand with intention and care can bring so much comfort, and that’s important. - ♥️ Madeline
